MIG Welder & Fabricator

Willand (Tiverton area) | Competitive salary | Full time | Monday - Friday | 40 hours per week

Overtime: Flat rate (weekdays) | Time and a half (Saturday) | Double time (Sunday)


Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering business based in the Tiverton area, who are seeking an experienced MIG Welder & Fabricator to join their team.

Key Duties
  • Carry out MIG welding and fabrication duties to a high standard.

  • Fabricate both heavy and light steel components.

  • Work accurately using jigs and fixtures.

  • Read and fabricate from engineering drawings.

  • Carry out repetitive fabrication tasks while maintaining quality standards.


Requirements
  • Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication.

  • TIG welding experience.

  • Experience working with mild steel, sheet metal, and stainless steel.

  • Ability to fabricate accurately from engineering drawings.

  • Comfortable working on repetitive tasks.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
