Location: Plymouth | Pay: Up to £38,000 per annum (DOE) | Hours: 45 hours per week | Days: 5 out of 7 on a rota basis (including weekends) | Contract: Permanent Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Stock Team Manager to join a leading national logistics operation near Plymouth. Stock Team Manager
Introduction
Key Duties:
* Monitor and analyse stock performance, including date-sensitive items, stock loss, and HUB credits; escalate issues and implement improvements to reduce waste and optimise availability.
* Lead and develop the stock control team, setting clear objectives, managing performance, and fostering an engaging, safe, and inclusive work environment aligned with company values and KPIs.
* Ensure excellent customer service by investigating quality issues, managing customer credits, and collaborating across departments to resolve queries and maintain high satisfaction levels.
* Promote safety, compliance, and continuous improvement - maintaining QHSE standards, ensuring accurate system updates, and driving process enhancements through teamwork and innovation.Requirements:
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams, manage change, and influence stakeholders across departments.
* Highly organised and adaptable, able to prioritise conflicting deadlines and plan workloads effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Analytical and innovative mindset, demonstrating sound judgement, problem-solving ability, and a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement.
* Confident IT user with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and experience with data and reporting systems.What We Offer:
