Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Electrical Wire Person to join a well-established engineering company in Taunton. This role is ideal for someone with a background in electrical wiring and a passion for building and wiring control panels and machines.

Key Duties

• Wire electrical components including motors, drives, relays, transformers, and HMIs.

• Wire machines, including trunking, cable trays, junction boxes, and sensors.

• Troubleshoot and fault-find on electrical systems.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings.

Requirements

• Fully time-served electrician, ideally with control panel or on-machine wiring experience.

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification beneficial.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Own hand tools required.
