Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Visitor Welcome Team Member for Forestry England in Northampton. This role is perfect for someone who loves being outdoors, meeting new people, and helping visitors enjoy nature. You will help create unforgettable experiences for families, hikers, cyclists, and wildlife enthusiasts while supporting the smooth running of the visitor centre.

Key Duties:

• Welcome visitors warmly and provide clear, friendly information about the forest, trails, and activities.

• Support the visitor hub, including handling cash and card payments and promoting Forestry England memberships.

• Keep facilities clean, safe, and inviting, assisting with basic manual maintenance tasks as needed.

• Learn and assist in first aid to help maintain a safe environment.

• Follow best practices for health and safety, customer care, and cash handling.

• Undertake other reasonable tasks to support the visitor experience.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Genuine passion for providing great customer service, in person or online.

• Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

• Willingness to learn about health and safety in an outdoor environment.

• Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office.

Desirable:

• Experience using tills or admissions systems.

• Cash handling experience.

Qualifications:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
