Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a skilled CNC Press Brake / Assembly Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Willand, Devon.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering job stability, progression opportunities, and a competitive salary package with overtime and an annual performance bonus.

Key Duties:

• Operate CNC Press Brake and CNC Punch machines efficiently and safely.

• Perform quality inspections using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Adjust machine settings to meet job specifications.

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

• Assist with the assembly process.

• Keep the work area clean and compliant with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating CNC Press Brake machinery.

• Experience in assembly work.

• Background in sheet metal fabrication or a similar environment.

• Good problem-solving and basic fault-finding skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Desirable:

• Experience operating CNC Punch machinery.

• Experience in cupboard making.

• Familiarity with general machine maintenance.
