Newport, South Wales | £25,500-£26,500 | Monday to Friday | Permanent, Full-Time


Introduction

As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a proactive Scheduler / Service Coordinator to join a friendly and supportive team.


Key Duties:

  • Answer incoming calls, assisting customers with queries, service requests, and concerns professionally.
  • Accurately raise, log, and track jobs within the company's system.
  • Plan, allocate, and schedule work for engineers/operatives, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Collate and maintain accurate project information and records.
  • Order materials and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Monitor job progress and provide regular updates to customers and management.
  • Prepare and maintain engineer schedules, arranging return visits where required.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to collate data for completion statistics and performance reporting.
  • Support the delivery of a first-class service, ensuring an excellent customer experience at every stage.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in scheduling, coordination, or a similar role (preferred).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in IT systems for job logging, scheduling, and data management.
  • Experience in resource planning and coordinating multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Confident liaising with clients, engineers, and suppliers.
