Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is partnering with a catering specialist based on-site in Newport to recruit a Kitchen Porter. This is a Monday to Friday daytime role with hours between 6:30am and 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning cutlery, crockery, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Carrying out general cleaning and support tasks as required.
• Ensuring all cleaning is completed to a high standard, adhering to health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Punctual and reliable with strong time management skills.
• Presentable appearance with high standards of personal hygiene.
• Able to understand and communicate in English at a working level (spoken and written).
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Able to remain calm and effective in a high-pressure environment.
• Flexible and willing to support other roles or duties as needed.
