Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Refuse / Recycling Loaders for temporary ongoing roles in Barnstaple. These positions cover staff absence and sickness and require reliable individuals able to start immediately or at short notice.

Key Duties:

• Collect household waste and load it onto vehicles.
• Walk alongside refuse and recycling vehicles as they move along the route.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Handle heavy lifting safely throughout the shift.

Requirements:

• Physically fit and able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Able to lift heavy loads safely.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Available to work immediately or at short notice.
• Must be available Wednesday 24 September for induction.

What We Offer:

• Pay rate of £12.21 per hour, rising to £12.65 after 12 weeks.
• Ongoing temporary work based on rota and cover needs.
