Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Cleaner & Light Maintenance Operative to support the upkeep of a busy railway station, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for staff and passengers alike.

This varied role involves both internal and external cleaning duties, as well as light maintenance tasks to help maintain the highest standards across the station facilities.

Key Duties:

• General daily cleaning and light maintenance across the station.
• Cleaning of office spaces, toilets, stairwells, lifts, and pathways.
• Cleaning and tidying platforms to ensure a safe and presentable environment.
• Weeding outside areas and maintaining planters.
• Ensuring fixtures and fittings are in good working order.
• Reporting any faults or issues requiring further attention.
• Working independently and taking pride in the station's presentation.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning, facilities, or maintenance experience desirable.
• A proactive, hands-on attitude with attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
• Strong awareness of health and safety.
