Production Operatives - Food Manufacturing

Widnes (West Bank) | £12.21 per hour | Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays) | Temp to Perm

Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting Production Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for a respected food manufacturing client in the West Bank area of Widnes.

Our client is a leading wholesale bacon curing company, specialising in both Dry Cured and Tank Cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, they are known for high-quality produce and fast, efficient service.

Key Duties:

• Operating food production machinery.
• Packing and labelling products to specification.
• Following strict food hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
• Working as part of a production team to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Completing hygiene and clean-down duties.
• Performing basic quality checks.

Requirements:

• Manual handling experience.
• Good awareness of food hygiene and general health & safety practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Positive, proactive, and hands-on attitude.
• Previous production experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment (preferred).

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.
• Tuesday & Thursday extended shifts until 6pm.
• Some Saturday work may be required, depending on business needs.

Pay & Progression:

• Starting rate: £12.21 per hour.
• Pay increase after successful completion of the probation period.
• Weekly pay through Acorn by Synergie.
