Acorn by Synergie are recruiting on behalf of a Public Sector client for a hospital Chef/Cook to work a on a tempoaray basis.

You will be responsible for cooking food in the hospital kitchen making sure all patients and staff have highly nutritious, high-quality food.

Location - Newport

Payrate

Days £11.44 - £12.31

Saturdays £15.44 - 16.62

Sundays £19.33 - £20.81

Multiple hours available between 6am 2pm and 11am 7pm

Duties Include

Making sure that meal choices reflect the preferences and dietary requirements

• Planning and preparing meals and menus
• Storing food correctly
• Working as a part of the catering team
• Supervising kitchen assistants

The Ideal Candidate will have

Level 2 - 3 Food Safety

Minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivelant in relevant qualification

Previous experience working as a Chef/Cook in a busy environment

Team working skills

Organisation skills
