Welder

Honiton, EX14, Devon

Monday to Thursday 6.45am to 5pm with 30 mins for lunch. Total of 39 hours a week

Must have own transport

Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour

MIG and TIG welder wanted for up to 4 weeks cover at friendly and award-winning Company in Honiton (the role may be extended).

Skills

The ideal candidate will be flexible and energetic and willing to take a proactive approach to the welding and fabrication requirements in a busy engineering environment. The role is hands on and can be physically demanding due to the nature of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mig Welding mild steel and stainless steel, thickness ranging from 1mm up to 20mm
• Tig welding
• General fabrication including cutting and drilling
• Accurate reading of machine drawings
• Maintenance of work area
• Restocking of work area
• Supporting other teams in Production and Dispatch if required

Essential skills and experience:

• A minimum of 1 years Mig and Tig welding.
• Ability to accurately read machine drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work to deadlines.
• Experience using hand tools would be advantageous.
• Pro-active approach to work.
• Keen to be part of a team.
• Willing to learn and develop within the company.
