Mould Preparation / Foundry Operative (Manufacturing)

* Monday to Friday on a 3 week shift rotation pattern
* One week 6am - 2pm, followed by 1pm - 8.30pm, followed by 8.30pm to 6am

* £14.03 to £14.96 per hour

The role would generally suit somebody with a machine operating,mechanical or manufacturing/production background, however all backgrounds will be considered as full training can be provided for the right individual. Your role will involve loading and unloading moulds from batching ovens, and preparing moulds for the casting process by following instructions provided. Full safety PPE to be worn and hot environment at times.


The role includes:

* A very competitive hourly rate, plus shift allowance
* Working Monday to Friday on a 3-week rotating shift pattern
* All breaks paid- 7.5 hr working day for two weeks, night shift paid at 7.5 hrs plus 3 hours per day at £19.50 per hour
* Overtime available (once trained) £24.94 for Sunday

Candidate requirements:

* Previous experience of operating injection machines
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
* Great attention to detail and quality standards
* Good level of English, both reading, writing, and spoken
* Flexibility
* Team player
* Awareness of health and safety
