Job description

Are you a laboratory guru who loves to be hands-on with Development and Innovation plans for successful new product development?? If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Lab Technician based at our client's Flint site, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing process by supporting the development and implementation of new products with the R&D team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong lab background who enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Duties include;

  • Conduct stability testing of new products in accordance with industry guidelines and internal protocols.
  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory tests using various equipment and instrumentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of all laboratory activities and results.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during testing.
  • Planning and prioritising workload to ensure that business requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
  • Write clear and concise reports and trial instructions.

  • Monday - Friday working week (part time or full time hours available, although must be each day in Lab)
  • Salary - £25907.28 pro rata
  • Bonus Scheme upto 10% of salary, dependant on company results

Ideal Candidate will possess;

  • Previous Lab experience
  • Science based background preferred, but not essential
  • Confident with working within a team
  • Strong communication skills as will be working with other stakeholders across different internal departments
  • Attention to detail, with good housekeeping skills
  • Computer Literate
  • Health and Safety conscious
  • Previous FMCG Industry experience
