Role: Surveyor

Contract: Full time, Permanent

Mon - Fri 09.00am - 17.30pm (flexible start/ finish times available)

Location: Braunton, Barnstaple, Bideford (must be able to service all of Devon)

Salary: Dependent on experience + competitive commission structure

Acorn by Synergie are excited to be recruiting a Surveyor to join a local firm with over 100 years' experience in the sale of homes, rural properties, farms and land.

Scope of the role:

The general role would include red book valuations and probate valuations along with loan security. Other day-to-day jobs will include building surveys of all levels and home buyers' surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduction professional valuations on properties and land, including for probate, loan security, red book valuations
* Working with charitable organisations and public sector clients.
* Surveying buildings / properties
* Measuring and surveying land
* Working with customers on land advice and disputes
* Assessing the environmental impact of new constructions
* Offering advice to property owners and developers on any issues or structural issues
* Creating reports based on surveys
* Converting leads and lead generation

Experience Required:

* MRICS, FRICS or RICS required - Would consider someone working towards
* Experience in valuing land and property
* Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
* Strong negotiation skills
* Full driving licence as will need to travel
* Ability to organise and prioritise own workload
* Ability to work as part of a team
